醫療貢獻
手術中即時影像導航系統及電腦分析定位新技術之特色應用包含了疼痛治療手術 (三叉神經痛、惡性腫瘤疼痛、骨質疏鬆壓迫性脊椎骨折疼痛)、頭部外傷手術、脊椎手術(退化性、外傷與腫瘤疾病)、自發性腦出血手術、腦腫瘤與顱底腫瘤手術。我們的醫療團隊在此系統的臨床應用技術上，於2011年及2014年歐洲腦神經外科醫學會(EANS)與2011年亞澳腦神經外科醫學會(AACNS)上作口頭論文發表，並深獲重視。此外，在三叉神經痛的低侵犯性治療結果，也被刊登於歐洲神經外科醫學期刊 (Acta Neurochirurgica)，這是目前相關文獻上藉由導航系統完成治療案例最多的報告。同時，我們也陸續在國際醫學期刊中發表在椎弓根螺釘的放置(J Spinal Disord Tech, 2012年)與治療骨質疏鬆壓迫性脊椎骨折疼痛(Acta Neurochir, 2013年)的成果。在2013年美國腦神經外科醫學會(CNS)，我們亦將此技術作口頭論文發表。
隨著醫學進步，高科技的手術硬體與軟體設備是未來醫療發展的趨勢，手術中即時影像導航系統及電腦分析定位技術可提供多樣性的臨床應用潛力，以助於提升手術患者照護的精準度與安全性。
